About the Course

Stretching with Cupping is an intensive, advanced-level class utilizing cupping with various forms of stretching. Most massage therapists use stretching to complement their sessions. As we work with our clients using cupping therapies, we’re looking for ways to lessen strain on our bodies and maintain the high standards we and our clients have set. Using Cupping with Stretching to enhance the modality of cupping will bring a new level of therapy to your session. Combining cupping with isometric, isotonic, active, passive, dynamic, and pin-hold stretching techniques creates a powerful and dynamic therapeutic session.

The purpose of this class is to continue your education of cupping, deepening your understanding of how cupping will lessen hand and arm strain while achieving better stretching results with your client. Helping to increase range of motion and flexibility, improving the health of clients. As a natural progression of massage and bodywork, we all start with the basics and begin to incorporate stretching. So, after mastering the basics of cupping, adding stretching with cupping is the natural progression. In this class, students will be able to follow along learning how to work around the entire body utilizing stretching with cupping in various applications.
