Filter Set for VacuTherapy Machines

$12.00

Keep your vacuum cupping machine running nice and clean with these easy to replace filters.

Description

An important part of keeping your vacutherapy machine working well is making sure that the filters are clean. This set includes two different types of filters that help keep debris out of your machine’s internal parts.

Most vacutherapy machine users should already be familiar with the circular filters that originally came with their machine. These small, circular filters are the last line of defense that keeps your machine clean.

We’ve also included an inline hose filter that adds an extra layer of protection to your setup. First, these inline hose filters offer improved filtration compared to just using the disc filters. In addition, they can also protect your machine from excess wear and tear at the hose connection point. Instead of attaching your regular hoses directly to the machine, you’ll now connect the inline hose filter to the machine and then connect your hose to the filter.

Includes:
  • 6 disc filters
  • 2 inline hose filters (cap color may vary)
Compatible with:
  • MC-600 VacuTherapy Machine
  • MM-600 VacuTherapy Machine
Filter Inspection:

Since how frequently a machine is used can vary greatly, we recommend inspecting your filters on a regular basis to ensure that your filters are clean. This inspection interval can range anywhere from 1 to 6 months, depending on how often your machine is used.

For the disc filters, check both sides of the disc for discoloration. As the disc filter is used, it will begin to darken in color. When the filter begins to turn gray, it’s time for a new filter. Once again, how quickly this discoloration occurs will vary greatly based on usage.

For the inline hose filters, this inspection can be a bit more difficult. Visual discoloration can be harder to spot with this type of filter. Due to this, we recommend simply replacing the hose filter at a regular interval, anywhere between 6 to 24 months based on machine usage.

Replacement Intervals:

Refer to the tables below for filter replacement schedules for your machine. These are simply our suggested replacement intervals based on usage estimates for the machine. You may find that you need to adjust your replacement schedule differently than what we have listed below.

  • Disc Filter: Change every 6-8 months
  • Inline Hose Filter: Change every 2 years
Moderate Use:
  • Disc Filter: Change every 4-6 months
  • Inline Hose Filter: Change once a year

  • Disc Filter: Change every 2-3 months
  • Inline Hose Filter: Change every 6 months
