Vacuumobilization™ MediCupping™ Machine
We have had an overwhelming response to the new equipment email and a lot of great questions! We have just found this machine and have not even gotten it up on the MediCupping site yet. This is a new machine and is not the TV10 or TV20 that we began with. We still love the TV10, yet realized very quickly that it has a price that made it unavailable to all. The TV20 is still in a class by itself, with computer programs for specific treatments -- a great machine for a medical office where an assistant will be performing a prescribed treatment. We searched high and low and found this beauty that has the features that we like at an incredible price. We are running a fixed pre-inventory special price of $375 for the July order and hope to keep the same price in the future ... it all depends on how freight and importing costs come out on this first order. The machine comes with many filters and replacement parts for any emergency. The sturdy glass cups come in six sizes for face and body and we have found some extra small sizes for the face that we can also supply! There are six massive plastic cups with curved rims that are intended for breast work and are amazing for broad areas of the body. They are cone-shaped with measuring markers for how much tissue is in the cup. There are three more cups that are quite interesting ... they come in large, medium and small and have small metal roller balls around the cup rim that soften tissue along with the suction. Great for scar work and cellulite! The feedback that we have gotten is "Great, but a bit cold!", so we have learned to warm them up a little first. Menopausal women liked them just the way they are! There are six different "suction/release" or "pumping" modes and one mode for simple suction. There is a pretty sensitive control knob for suction strength with a gauge for consistency and recording accurate treatment notes. The pumping modes have the same time increments for suction and release and that is the only difference between this and the TV10. With the TV10, you can adjust suction time and release time. I actually find the new one a little easier, with less adjusting of knobs during treatment. The BEST thing about this machine is that all of you can already use it. You are fully trained in Massage Cupping therapy and can do almost everything that you can do using the hand-held system, with more ease. The ONLY thing that we cannot do is park multiple cups on an area or do flash cupping, since the cups do not have valves. So, keep those manual cups handy if you like to park multiple cups! The great thing is ... the company has included a "bifurcated" hose with two cup attachments (along with the two single hoses that can even be connected to make one long hose). I simply take the two cups on the bifurcated hose and park them using a pumping mode so that the suction does not increase. The pumping mode has become quite a favorite for me! The machine is actually very quiet. It makes a louder hum when it is on a bare table, so I simply place a towel under it (that's just a habit, too). It has a wonderful vibration that goes through the cup and is very soothing to clients... makes them fall asleep even faster! The size of the equipment is as follows (at the largest points): length 12", width 12" (down to about 3" at the front), back height 6", front height 3", circumference 37". The equipment does not come with a case at this moment ... we are working on that & will have one in the near future. We always accept returns on any equipment within a 30-day window for "just don't like it" and the machine is warranteed for a year on any defects. We will have a DVD out for MediCupping, and it will demonstrate advanced applications using the machine. In the meantime, we will compose and include detailed written instructions on how to use the machine ... and you will easily master it based on your Massage Cupping training. If we get enough requests for a short workshop for the first group of you, we'll be happy to do that! We could even schedule that around the AMTA convention in Orlando September 23 - 26 for those of you who are attending. We have only offered this machine to you, our certified practitioners, and we require training for new therapists who purchase any equipment. That has always been our focus, and this powerful machine will be sold with the same integrity. Please let us know if you have ANY more questions. Also, for those of you who do not get all of the questions in your responses answered here, we will be emailing you again so that you have all of the information that you have requested. Sincerely, Anita Shannon |
